Modernizing Your Member Experience: A New AMS on the Horizon
The California Primary Care Association (CPCA) is gearing up for a major technology upgrade to better support our members, improve efficiency, and provide new tools for engagement.
After nearly 15 years on our current membership platform, CPCA is transitioning to re:Members, a new association management software (AMS) that is scheduled to launch in late April or early May 2026.
What Is an AMS?
An AMS is an integrated system that helps associations manage their day-to-day operations and member relationships more efficiently. Similar to a Practice Management System, it serves as the central hub for:
Membership records
Event registration
Communications
Billing and payments
Reporting and analytics
All of these functionalities will be streamlined into one modern, easy-to-use platform, reflecting CPCA’s ongoing commitment to innovation, service, and member support.
What This Means for You
Beginning in 2026–and in conjunction with a website refresh–members will experience a new and improved interface through which you can:
Register for events and trainings
Purchase products
Access on-demand education
Update your personal profile and contact information
Securely save payment methods
Additionally, CPCA will be able to provide better analytics and insights, allowing us to tailor resources and communications more effectively to your needs.
How You Can Help
While active individual accounts will be carried over to the new system, CPCA needs your help in making sure our data is accurate and up to date.
CPCA is reaching out to all operations and human resource staff at member organizations to review and update their current organizational data, including:
Staff Rosters: Identifying staff who may no longer work for your organizations.
Site information: address, phone number, and other key details
Individual information: name, title, and email address for everyone connected to your organization
Your assistance in cleaning up your organization’s data will be crucial to ensuring a seamless transition.
If you have questions about this process, please contact membership@cpca.org, and our staff will follow up.
Looking Ahead
As we look ahead to the May 2026 launch, our team is working diligently to ensure this transition enhances every aspect of the member experience. The new system will streamline processes, improve access to information, and provide the tools needed to better connect and engage with YOU!
Stay tuned for updates as we move closer to launching our AMS!
